Two Last Things

1. Mother Strike: no need to correct the spelling in the last post! I forgot to do a check before posting, but have since edited.

2. I forgot to mention that the House also passed a bill placing major FDA restrictions on tobacco. The bill passed 298-112. Surprisingly, 70 Republicans voted for it. 8 Democrats voted against it, and just by pure coincidence, a lot of them were from tobacco haven North Carolina. Before the final vote, the House rejected two Republican alternatives.
